Concerned Community Involved Development, Inc. ("CCID") sought a temporary and permanent injunction against the City of Houston ("the City"), Candlelight Development Joint Venture, and various other real estate development and construction entities (referred to collectively as "Candlelight") to prevent the construction of a bridge. The City filed a plea to the jurisdiction. The trial court conducted separate hearings on (1) CCIDs request for injunctive relief and (2) the Citys plea to the jurisdiction. In a single order, the trial court denied CCIDs request for injunctive relief and granted the Citys plea to the jurisdiction. In two points of error, CCID contends the trial court erred in (1) overruling its due process claims by denying injunctive relief and (2) granting the Citys plea to the jurisdiction. We affirm, in part, and reverse and remand, in part.
